mojo club and mojo jazz café are largely accessible. with a disability companion pass [german “b-ausweis”], one accompanying person receives free entry. if possible, please register in advance by email.

there is no raised platform or dedicated wheelchair area; however, there are podiums, each accessible via two steps. the club does not have a guidance system for the blind or an induction loop system

  • disabled parking spaces are located directly at the mojo entrance [address: beim trichter 1] and at the rear of the club on zirkusweg 11.
  • the tanzende türme car park [zirkusweg 20] has 16 disabled parking spaces [entry height: 2.00 m]
  • all nearby bus and rail stops are equipped with tactile guidance systems, electronic information displays, and raised platform edges.
  • st. pauli underground station is approx. 100 m away and has a lift [check operational status at https://www.hvv.de/de/aufzuege]

concerts that finish before midnight are open to those aged 16 and over without adult supervision. unless otherwise stated, children under 6 are not permitted to attend concerts, and attendance is not recommended for children under 10. the minimum age for entry to club nights is 21.

the box office opens on the day of the event at the specified admission time.

however, there is only a limited number of tickets for each event. if these are sold out in advance, the box office will remain closed. if you want to be on the safe side, buy a ticket in advance.

at the mojo club, most bars only accept cashless payment; all common debit and credit cards are welcome. cash payments are also possible at the cloakroom, at the coffee bar on the main floor, and at the mojo jazz café. depending on the event, the box office sometimes operates on a cash-only basis. tickets can be purchased cashlessly in advance via the pre-sale.

cloakroom facilities are available for a fee.

backpacks and larger bags cannot be taken into the club. small bags must be handed in at the cloakroom, handbags excluded. all bags will be checked at the door.

drinks, marker pens, falafel, selfie sticks, cardboard boxes, pyrotechnics and confetti must also remain outside.

the time indicated in the event schedule is the time of admission. as a rule, the concert starts one hour after doors. however, there are sometimes different schedules. if you want to make sure, come early and have a drink at the bar.

the drinks menu in the club is deliberately straightforward. soft drinks, beer, long drinks. nothing else. the music and the artists are the focus of the event. amen.

more sophisticated drinks and further diversion can be found before, after and during the concerts in the mojo jazz café. the glasses can be taken down to the club at any time.

the mojo club stands for an unprejudiced environment as well as a culture of diversity based on mutual appreciation, respect and acceptance. any failure to comply with these values will result in the exclusion either from the event or a general exclusion from the mojo club itself.
