SKOR72 wuchs als teenager in den späten neunzigern mit graffiti und der rap-kultur auf. damit war der grundstein gelegt, erst schriftsteller und dj, später promoter und schließlich 2015 mit der eröffnung von „vary“ in leipzig plattenladenbesitzer zu werden: „hip hop remains the biggest part of my cultural identity and even though i had & still have a lot of fun exploring its roots and siblings, all roads always lead back to it eventually. no wonder my selection for this beyond session is consisting of my favourite reference points of what rap music became over the course of the past few years, especially after being in touch with its culture over the last two and a half decades. expect some hard to find & even harder to acquire rarities and something that won’t be out for a while.“
